ohhh wayyy less maintnence.... i ride single speed on my bigfoot but its way easier to pedal single speed with a tensioner what i have.... http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/1236552/ ---- that pic shows my conversion kit to single speed... or if you want to save money for a bit... do go to a complete single speed sprocket and keep the gears and just put it on one gear... and the advantages of riding single speed is that you dont have to tune your derailer and buy cables... i run only the back brake and single speed
its cheap... and i only do dirt jumps and street. |
